No Politico Seems to Want to Credit for this Tidbit of the Infrastructure Plan: Vehicle Miles Tax

I guess we mourned this tax's passing too early when Washington gave up on it a few months back. The Infrastructure bill before the house includes the lusted after VMT, which was slipped in during the dark of night without anybody taking credit for it. But don't fear, it's only a "pilot program" (LOL), and it could take the place of the gas tax (LOL). And, yes, it will require monitoring of your comings and goings by Washington. What's the worst that could happen?
